At CM.com, we send more than 25 million text messages globally every day. To achieve this, we have a vast network of local suppliers of SMS, Voice, and RCS termination that we call "carriers". We are currently looking for a Carrier Sourcing Manager to join our Carrier Relations Team. The role involves working in a dynamic industry that operates around the clock on small margins and high volumes. As the Carrier Sourcing Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure that we maintain and expand the quality of our services, including the delivery of messages and conversion to action. The Carrier Relations Team comprises four members working remotely from different parts of the world, including Hong Kong, France, the UK, and the Netherlands. As the Carrier Sourcing Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Carrier Relations.

What you will do

As a Carrier Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for identifying potential carrier partners, assessing their capabilities, and negotiating agreements to enhance the company's network. The primary goal of your team would be to generate measurable and verifiable profit margin uplift.

You will also manage contracts and negotiations with carriers. You will be responsible for overseeing rates and ensuring that services meet the company's time, cost, and quality standards. Additionally, you will work towards resolving any issues that may arise during the delivery process.

Sales Partner Engagement

Encourage and qualify requirements from internal Sales Partners and provide preliminary feedback especially in the assigned Territory.

Destination Expert in the Assigned Territory

Be to the go-to for knowledge of current MNO traffic restrictions and regulations, market trends and other important information to empower
Sales Partners to sell credibly

Job requirements

You connect with us, if you have:

  • A Bachelor's or a Master's degree in a relevant field;
  • 2+ years relevant experience in the sector;
  • Strong commercial mindset and great negotiation skills;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. You are a great stakeholder manager;
  • Knowledge of the A2P SMS landscape including operator and wholesale profiles, bi-lateral trade and other dynamics, AIT, and Voice Termination;
  • Fluency in English and locally the native language if the role is not based in the UK.
