To achieve this mission, we are looking for a Senior Account Executive to further develop our Connect business in the Dutch market.

What you will do:

CM.com is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our Connect Business Unit. As the market shifts from traditional SMS-based communication to richer, multi-channel customer interactions, we need someone who can drive business growth by acquiring new clients and partners, while seizing opportunities in an evolving landscape.


Our Connect platform (CPaaS) enables over 4000 Dutch clients to engage with their customers across multiple communication channels such as SMS, WhatsApp (for Business), Google Business Messaging, Voice, Email, RCS, and social media platforms. With customer expectations growing beyond simple SMS to rich, conversational messaging, we offer solutions that help businesses meet these new demands.


As a Senior Account Executive, you will play an important role in expanding our presence in the Dutch market. You will:

  • Drive new business development;
  • Explore opportunities with potential partners and create long-term business relationships.
  • Help clients transition from one-way communication (SMS) to interactive, multi-channel conversations by integrating newer communication methods like WhatsApp and Google Business Messaging.
  • Work closely with key decision-makers, such as C-level executives, as well as Technology, Security, and Marketing managers, to propose and implement tailored solutions.
  • Act as a bridge-builder within CM.com, collaborating with other business units like Engage, to introduce complementary solutions like SaaS tools and customer contact software.

The communication market is evolving rapidly. Other challenges you might face include identifying opportunities to introduce new interaction channels such as Google Business Messaging, Instagram, Facebook, Voice and other. Besides that, you will become a key playing in maintaining CM.com’s competitive edge, bringing in new clients and converting those using competitor platforms.


You’ll join a dynamic sales team of about 10 colleagues, working collaboratively to acquire new clients, partners and system integrators and grow existing accounts in sectors like Tech & Media, Logistics, Finance, Telco, Utilities, and Government. You'll also report directly to Sven van Gurp, Sales Manager for Connect.

Job requirements

You connect with us, if you have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Multiple years of experience in sales or new business development
  • Experience in a sales-driven organization with commercial targets
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex solutions (CPaaS) in complex environments
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commercial mindset
  • Self-starter and a strong team player
  • Industry experience in IT, Telecom, SaaS or CPaaS
  • Fluency in English and Dutch
