Now, looking for a Sales Development Representative Intern who wants to kickstart his/her sales career and make an impact from day one. If you’re sharp, curious about AI, motivated, and ready to learn and build a pipeline that converts into real revenue, this role is for you.

What you will do

We are building the ultimate Global AI-Powered Customer Engagement Platform that lets businesses connect with customers, automate work, and handle every interaction through one reliable, user-friendly platform. That is our mission for 2026.

As a Sales Intern at CM.com, your main responsibility is to drive outbound lead generation. This role is crucial for our commercial organization to meet our ambitious new business growth targets.
This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for individuals aspiring to build a career in software sales. It serves as an excellent first step in your commercial career, allowing you to work according to the CM.com Sales Consultancy Methodology and play a key role in educating, qualifying, and developing new target accounts. You will have the autonomy to demonstrate your entrepreneurial skills and create sales-ready leads and opportunities for innovative products in the field of customer engagement.

In your 9 months internship, you will:

Focus on becoming a skilled sales professional while working with our cutting-edge Global AI-Powered Customer Engagement Platform. By the end of your internship, you’ll have developed the expertise to help business embrace AI and revolutionize their customer engagement strategies. By becoming a trusted advisor to leads and prospects, you’ll create a funnel of opportunities that fuels the team’s success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Market Exploration: Research and understand the domain of customer service and marketing automation to identify opportunities.

  • Pipeline Building: You will manage inbound leads and generate new high-quality leads by running outbound campaigns according to a Target List using cold calls, personalized emails and videos, via social selling, organizing and running webinars, and attending events. You will learn how to identify customers’ needs and budget and set up meetings for AE and help with building a strong sales pipeline for the team. You will learn how to use automation and AI tools (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc).

  • Trusted Advisor: Engage with prospects to understand their needs and position CM.com as the solution.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to achieve shared goals in a supportive and energetic environment.

  • Work closely with the Italian Team (Marketing Manager and Country Lead included)
    You’ll join a vibrant and ambitious group working to drive opportunities and close deals. You’ll have a buddy to guide you through your journey, ensuring that you learn, grow, and succeed in your role.

  • Improve processes using AI, automation, and smart tooling
    You’ll leverage AI and automation to streamline prospecting, optimize workflows, and enhance the efficiency of your sales efforts.

  • Make decisions fast, test ideas, and learn from what doesn’t work
    You’ll have the freedom to experiment with new approaches, adapt quickly, and continuously improve your strategies. Success is measured by impact, not by perfect plans.

That’s why you ideally have

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree, with fluency in Italian and English.

  • Available to start no later than May or June 1st, 2026.

  • Strong interest in AI-based solutions and a desire to pursue a career in consultative software sales.

  • A proactive, curious, and entrepreneurial mindset, eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and creativity to overcome challenges and achieve goals.

  • For this position, we can only consider candidates who already hold a permanent work and residence permit for Italy.
