What you will do
CM.com has four business units. We are currently seeking an experienced account manager for the Connect business unit.
CM.com Connect offers a multichannel communication platform (CPaaS) that allows over 6000 clients in the Benelux to effectively communicate across various channels with their customers. This includes SMS, WhatsApp for Business, Voice, Email, RCS, Apple Business Chat, and other social media messaging channels.
- The account manager will focus on providing exceptional client services to enterprise clients in the Belgian market. The Belgian sales team consists of approximately 7 colleagues in various sales roles, all working together to acquire new business opportunities and maintain and expand our existing client base.
- You will also have a business development role, on your existing portfolio as well as regarding new logos. Within your existing portfolio, the account manager will directly interact with the main stakeholders in client organizations, such as (C-level) Technology, Security, or Marketing managers. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying commercial opportunities for CM.com beyond your specific domain (Connect). This could include our product offerings related to customer contact software (Engage), payment solutions (Pay), or ticketing (Live).
- Regarding new logos, we expect you to create and carry out prospection strategies, based on your Target Account Lists per Key Industry.
- Visit and network on sector-specific events where we often also give keynotes (and why not give a key note yourself when you feel like it?).
- Manage inbound leads, generated by our high-performing central Marketing team.
- Understand customers’ needs.
- Give related presentations and product demos.
- Negotiate agreements.
This position reports directly to Jan Van Bosch, Country Lead.

Additionally, you ideally have
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or key account management, preferably in corporate environments.
- Experience in a sales-driven organization with commercial targets.
- Demonstrated success in selling complex solutions in complex environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commercial mindset.
- Self-starter and a strong team player.
- Industry experience in IT, Telecom, or SaaS.
- Fluency in Dutch, proficient in French and English.
