We're passionate about empowering businesses to deliver incredible experiences to their users, designed to revolutionize how businesses connect witha their customers.

Although our work may be highly technical, our people are the spark that ignites innovation. We're a collective of ambitious minds, fueled by a passion for technology and a dedication to making a difference.

Since 1999, our philosophy has remained the same: “Do what you love, do what you’re good at, and contribute”.

To help us achieve this mission we are looking for a Business Controller to support our Business Unit Management Teams making the right business decisions.

What you will do

As a business partner, your goal is to achieve strategic, financial, and operational objectives in a fast-changing business environment. You will be responsible for leading your business unit's Planning & Control cycle, translating the business strategy into concrete plans and accurate forecasts, providing forward-looking insights through monthly business reporting, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in building the Business Control team. During the monthly closing process, financial control activities will be a key part of your responsibilities. It's important to note that as CM.com is a publicly listed company, we are required to adhere to strict reporting timelines. These activities include:

  • Analyzing and monitoring KPIs, contributing to strategic planning, budget creation, and forecasting cycles
  • Providing monthly, quarterly, and yearly management reports to stakeholders such as the Management Board, Business Units, and Supervisory Board
  • Developing and maintaining financial data warehouses and reports with the Business Intelligence (BI) team
  • Conducting ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making

You will use factual information to make decisions about major new clients, pricing, investments, and international projects. You'll develop a view from outside the company and compare CM.com to its competitors. You'll work closely with international departments like sales, product, and operations to advise about potential opportunities and risks to help the company grow and create value. You'll have plenty of opportunities to drive change and make a difference as you become part of the Management Team of your Business Unit(s).

You will be part of the Business Control team at 5 FTE, based in Breda, and you will report to the Head of Business Finance, who directly reports to our CFO.
