To achieve this mission, we are looking for a Product Owner Merchant Administration to streamline and enhance our merchant onboarding and management processes, ensuring compliance and control over all merchant accounts. You'll be instrumental in minimizing customer effort while upholding CM.com standards.

What you will do

As part of our Merchant Administration team, you will play a key role in driving our vision to create a frictionless and fast onboarding process. You will work alongside four developers, including two located in Spain, and a lead developer, while reporting directly to the Head of Product. In this role, you will collaborate closely not only with the development team, but also with our sales, client, and compliance teams. Your main focus, as the Product Owner of Merchant Administration, will be on customer onboarding. You will achieve this by improving the compliance onboarding app, enhancing the provisioning step, and creating a customer onboarding self-service.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute a product vision: articulate a clear and inspiring product vision that resonates with both stakeholders and customers;

  • Create the product roadmap: transform the vision into a strategic roadmap that aligns seamlessly with business objectives and fulfills the needs of your stakeholders;

  • Collaborate with stakeholders: stay in close contact with your key stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate these into valuable product features;

  • Manage the product backlog: prioritize tasks to ensure our development team is focused on the most impactful work;

  • Lead agile processes: guide the team through agile methodologies, conducting stand-ups, refinements, sprint planning and retrospectives.

  • End-to-end responsibility: Once your team finalizes a product feature, you take full responsibility for it by thoroughly testing the new functionalities and assisting stakeholders in utilizing the products effectively through comprehensive documentation and training.

Additionally, you ideally have

  • A minimum bachelor’s degree

  • Fluency in Dutch and English; Spanish is a plus

  • Relevant experience in the sector or as a product owner

  • A passion for technology and innovation: you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are always looking for ways to improve and innovate

  • Strong communication skills, are result-driven, possess analytical skills and are a team player!

  • The possibility to work 32-40 hours per week

  • Live in or nearby our Breda HQ
